Trellech Village Hall Newsletter – March 2014

Welcome

Spring is in the air – but where did winter go?  I know it’s been wet (!) but it hasn’t really been cold has it?  Perhaps we’ve got a winter version of ‘Indian Summer’ coming?  Still, we haven’t been hibernating – in fact, there’s a lot going on.

I urge you to shop many, many times in Waitrose this month and drop your green discs in the slot marked ‘Trellech Teas’ – the more the merrier.  Following on from the successful talk by David Davies MP last month, there’s another very interesting speaker lined up for this Friday.  We have some shopping opportunities for you and a drop in to find out more about community connections.  Our first ever Trellech Teas in support of a local charity happens this month too – and we’ve launched a new website. (And that’s not all) *Phew*

If you would like to sign up for the newsletter, please click here. If you would like to view the current issue please click here.

Happy reading folks!

Sarah Whiddett

Green discs in Waitrose
Every month Waitrose chooses three local causes to support through their green disc scheme.  I am very happy that this month one of those causes is us!  Please pick up a disc each time you shop and support Trellech Teas.  If you shop online, you can select us at the end of your order too.

Thanks everyone.

New website

Trellech Village Hall (The Babington Centre) has a smart new website (http://trellechvillagehall.org.uk).  It is full of news, information and links to sites you may find helpful.  You can also view the calendar and see at a glance not only what’s on but if the Centre if free for your event.

Christopher Edwards has been working hard behind the scenes to produce it and it looks superb.

If you have anything you’d like to add to the site – or suggestions to improve it – please contact Christopher via the contact tab on the site.
