Thursday April 10th 7:00pm
We’ve been working with the Monmouthshire Meadows group to create a meadow in the grounds of the Village Hall. The group is holding their AGM and an open meeting on Thursday April 10th to which everyone is invited.
Following a short AGM George Tordoff from Butterfly Conservation Wales and Mike Kilner, Gwent Spider Recorder will be giving a talk on the importance of flower-rich grassland for invertebrates. There will be news of future plans for the group and plenty of chance to chat to other people interested in meadows.
Tickets are £15 for non members which includes supper and a glass of wine. If you’d like to come to the meeting but not join in the supper you can do so for just £3.00.
For more information and to book tickets, please visit the Monmouthshire Meadows Group website www.monmouthshiremeadows.org.uk or contact Maggie Bliss on 01989 750740.
