Trellech Teas news
As you know, Trellech Teas were the recipients of some money from Waitrose in March via their green disc scheme.  I’m delighted to say that we received a cheque for £300.  We will put this money to good use in the coming weeks – mostly on items that will make the Teas look even better.  I’ll update you with what we’ve bought once we’ve bought it!  Thanks to all of you who dropped your discs into our slot in March. This year three of the Teas are being handed over to local groups to help them raise funds.  Last month St Nicholas Church held their fund raiser and I’m delighted to report that they raised a very healthy £150.  Thanks to everyone who came along to support.

We are now a pick up point for recycling bags.  If you need to replace your red, purple or green food recycling bags, drop in and pick them up at the same time as having a cuppa!

Every three months I tally up how much we’ve raised via Trellech Teas and pay half to the Village Hall and half to the funds for Trellech BIG Weekend.  I’m thrilled to bits to say that we’ve raised £1,217.71 this quarter and a grand total of £6,495 since we started in September 2012.  A huge thank you to everyone who supports the Teas – the bakers, the helpers and our lovely customers.  Long may it continue.
