A Warm Welcome to 2017 from Trellech Teas

a-cup-of-tea(Trellech Teas opens every Friday* at the Babington from 2pm to 4.30pm)

This year has seen a few changes at Trellech Teas with the departure of Sarah to Saundersfoot in August and a new team taking over the co-ordination of Trellech Teas. We are also pleased to welcome some new tea ladies on board. They are Karen Bourner, Linda Garwood, Lynda Thornycroft, Julie Powell, Caroline Clayton, Sarah McMahon, Pam Lloyd and Kathryn Hagg.

We normally offer four sessions as “take-over” teas to various organisation during the year. This year we are increasing it to six. We already have four booked so if any local organisation would like to request a session please contact Margaret or Jean. The first take-over teas will be on the 20th January to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the opening of the Babington Centre by the M.P. at that time, Roger Evans. We hope you will give your usual support to this event.

The trip to Bath for the Christmas market was very well supported. Everybody seemed to have had a good day. A big thank you to Simon Phillips for getting us there and back safely. Hopefully, we will organise another trip next year.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Christmas Teas on the 16th. We donated £50 of our takings to the Christmas jumper event which was held that evening in aid of ‘Save the Children’.

We hope you have a Happy Christmas and New Year and look forward to seeing you all back for tea and cakes on the *6th January.

Hope to see you all soon.

Margaret Morris, Jean Hughes and all at Trellech Teas
