The hall is licensed for up to 90 people, with seating for up to 50 people at tables and 90 seated theatre-style; and can be split into two rooms. There is a separate toilet facility for the disabled, and there is level access from the adjoining car park to the ground floor.
Both the small hall and main hall have a type of sprung floor due to the method of construction. The floor is covered in Karndean – an expensive hard-wearing top quality plastic commercial floor covering that is easy to clean and is recommended for use in gyms and dance studios which need a more durable and dirt resistant finish than wood. It sits on a sandwich of flooring grade chipboard and styrofoam high density insulation. This creates a floor that is both warm, slightly flexible and even comfortable to lie on.
Main hall: 9.4 metres long, 5.7 metres wide (Area 53.58 m2)
Small hall: 4.8 metres long, 4.6 metres wide (Area 22.08 m2)
The Hall is and has been used for a large number of events, from a regular children’s playgroup to weekly events such as the pop-up tea/coffee shop ‘Trellech Teas’, dog training; to regular yearly events such as Apple Day, Trellech BIG Weekend, Christmas Fayre, speaker-led talks and lectures, and the Trellech Pensioners Christmas Dinner.
This is in addition to one-off occasions, childrens’ and adults’ parties, wedding receptions, talks, workshops, organisational meetings, and much more.
