Robert Boyle will be running the pruning course.

Robert will bring some trees and soft fruit bushes for sale on the day. All he requires of you is to bring as many sharp pruning tools as you can. Also, a few additional steps or pruning ladders could be helpful but he will be encouraging everyone to carry out as much pruning as possible from the ground.

Topics covered:-

  • rootstocks
  • formative pruning of young trees
  • renovating older mature trees
  • common pests and diseases
  • soil fertility
  • fruit varieties for domestic growing
